Master Class occurs annually in the winter. Each year, the KTA invites an accomplished and respected professional to teach a master class for chosen students from each teacher’s studio. Students perform selected repertoire from memory in a recital setting, and receive valuable feedback from the master teacher. All students and teachers benefit from the different perspective a master teacher provides, delving deeper into the music and learning new approaches that may be incorporated into other repertoire. Past Master Teachers have included professors from UC/Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and local/regional composers.
A warm thank you to Bradley Sowash for being our Master Teacher for the 2017 Master Class. The students, and especially the teachers, learned a lot from this wonderful experience. We appreciate your contagious, fun spirit with our students and teachers!
Thank you to Kenwood Willis Music for once again hosting our event.
